CHARLTON FAMILY & NOAH MEDIA GROUP DELIGHTED WITH THE RESPONSE TO FINDING JACK CHARLTON BROADCASTING ON BBC & VIRGIN MEDIA IRELAND
The broadcast premiere of the film was the culmination of a weeklong #donatefordementia campaign which raised over €1m for Alzheimer's charities.
1st April 2021: John Charlton, son of Jack Charlton commented: ‘We are delighted to see such a positive reaction to the film. The fact that over a million euro was raised in Ireland for the Alzheimers Society is absolutely wonderful, and we will continue to support charities that help in the battles against dementia and cancer.’
Director Gabriel Clarke added: ‘It was a privilege to film with Jack and his family over the last 18 months of his life and the aim was to capture the man and a sense of why he had such a unique impact on so many lives. The events of the last week – the emotional response to the film and the scale of public donations – have added another chapter to his remarkable legacy.’
